• Please read the document Answers to Common Questions about HR for Leaders. You may wish to connect with other OLs to see if there are any casual staff in their area who may be interested in working as a casual in your area.
• Sort out the communication process of who will contact the staff to discuss your area of work (an interview or meeting may also be helpful to see if the staff person will be a fit for your area).
• If you wish to proceed, then arrange for orientation and connect with your scheduler.
• Posting requests:
  • Ensure you have a job description for the position. 
  • Know how many casual positions you want and create the posting based on the position (ask your HR Analyst for assistance) or use the HR Connect Power User Training Manual.
