Recruitment Advisor/HR Analyst

Your Recruitment Advisor is your contact for all external recruiting needs. 

Summary of services provided by your Recruitment Advisor:

  • Advertising and career fair interest
  • Leads school/student presentations
  • External recruiting advice
  • Creation of selection plan spreadsheet, interview template, telephone screening for all positions (internal and external)
  • Posting and screening of applicants for external job postings
  • Manages external applicant database
  • Administers and assesses applicable testing, certification and registration requirements of applicants
  • Participates in some interview panels and completes phone interviews with applicants
  • Completes reference checks/coordinates assistance with reference checks
  • Completes immigration process for new hires outside of country
  • Manages relocation process for new hires relocating to Vancouver to work at PHC
  • Approves all new hires
  • Completes wage assessment/prepares offer for new hires
  • Coordinates screening and testing of external hires

Your HR Analyst is your first point of contact for all questions, and triages to the appropriate HR contact, if applicable.

Summary of service provided by your HR Analyst:

  • Supports all internal qualifying, transactional tasks, displacements and HR Connect
  • HR Connect support/troubleshooting
  • Processes all posting requests in HR Connect for internal and external (casual, over-hire, new positions)
  • Update changes to postings (cancel postings, start dates, etc.)
  • Completes all qualifying for internal job postings
  • Facilitates internal testing
  • Completes all new hire packages and creates offer letters (for external successful applicants)
  • Facilitates New Employee Orientation (NEO)
  • Helps leaders complete reference requests
  • Supports Recruitment and HR Advisors, as needed
  • Displacements and bumping
  • Casual cleanup process
